WPF and Silverlight with Expression Blend 2 Book Coming Soon
I’ve taken one step closer to my goal of becoming a published author: I was the technical reviewer for the upcoming Friends of ED title Foundation Expression Blend 2: Building Applications in WPF and Silverlight by Victor Gaudioso.
I had no idea how much work it was to edit a book, let alone to author one, so I’m not quite as eager to write my first book as I was before the whole process. However, as much work as it was, it was still tremendously rewarding to have contributed to this title. I guess once I have a moment I’ll collect my thoughts, find a topic I can speak intelligently and eloquently about and call back the publishers that have inquired if I’m interested in writing a book for them. Don’t expect to see much of me on the weekends for six months but afterwards, I’ll be able to post my own book on this blog.
Anyway, if you are just starting out learning WPF and Silverlight or are interested in making the switch from Flash or Flex, check out this book.
